Special Blackjack Betting Strategy

Blackjack allows almost equal chances of winning and losing. In 50 game sessions, we may either win 24 times or lose 26 times—and it's often the latter.

Most cases, we lose 26 times. But the remaining 24 wins often make us feel we've won overall and go home feeling a winner or at least breakeven. We seldom realize that the house almost always wins 26 times in a game session. In short, though we win a lot, the casino always come out overall winner in the end.

If we keep track of, say, 100 plays, we'll note a pattern emerging. As we study the patterns closely we would be able to form blackjack betting strategies. And we would observe how wins and losses tend to group together in sessions. Many blackjack specialists have done this study before and found out that wins and losses seldom happen in an alternating pattern. They often occur in short successions, be interrupted, and re-appear in a new thread of short successions.

Thus, we may win 2 or 3 times of the time, and then lose 2 or 3 times of the time. And most times we win 2 times and the house wins 3 times. As the games progress our two wins multiply and it feels like we've won so many times over the casino. But don't get too carried away. Instead, note an emerging trend. Then couple that with this sequence: 2, and then 1,2,3,4, and 5. An important tip here is to leave when we suffer 4 losses in a row.

The blackjack betting strategies to be used here with the number sequence are applied to minimum bet limits. We assume that we win each betting round. Thus, with a $5 minimum bet, our betting pattern would be $10, and then $5, $10, $15 ($5 X 3, and so on), until we reach the $25 bet. Then we start back to betting $10 and go on increasing in increments of $5 till we reach $25 again. Then back to $10, and so on.

If a losing round interrupts the pattern, we simply immediately go back to the start--$10. If we lose four times successively, as earlier recommended, pack up and leave. This strategy often works. Two successive wins gives us $15. If we lose the next play we still got $5—and thus shows its winning potential.
